Accessibility Services Coordinator

Term, Full-time (100%)

July 14, 2025 to June 30, 2026

Duties: The successful applicant will be a member of the College's multi-disciplinary Student Services team reporting to the Director of Student Affairs. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and delivering specialized support and services for persons with disabilities and assist faculty in the planning and implementation of supports and academic accommodations.

Qualifications: A Master's Degree in Disabilities, Special Education, Psychology, Rehabilitation, Assistive Technology, Counselling, Clinical Social Work, or a related field is essential. Course work in Adult Education is an asset. Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years related experience with one-years' experience working with students with disabilities in a secondary or post-secondary educational environment; as well as experience with computers - MS applications, student information systems, and statistical software and assistive technology.

Candidates must have strong interpersonal, communication (listening, oral and written) skills; a demonstrated student and service focus; integrity and professionalism; independent thinking within a values-based collaborative team environment; and a dynamic, enthusiastic and productive work ethic. A working knowledge of the British Columbia post-secondary education system, familiarity with accessibility legislation and privacy laws (provincial and federal), universal design for learning, and the ability to evaluate documentation is an asset.

Successful candidates may be required to complete a Criminal Record Check.

Salary: As per the Faculty Salary Schedule and depending on qualifications, instructional and related work experience, the salary for term, full-time (100%) employees is in a range from $6,808.91 - $10,910.96 monthly (this includes 16% in lieu of vacation).
