Company Overview

Pearl West is a portfolio of high-growth consumer brands built for performance and scale. We own and operate multiple eCommerce-first businesses across wellness, supplements, skincare, and lifestyle—with over $40M+ in annual run-rate revenue. Our brands sell across Amazon, TikTok Shops, and Shopify, scaling rapidly using a centralized, operator-led model.

We're not just a marketing company. We build, scale, and exit brands like startups—with the capital and playbooks of private equity. Our culture is fast-paced, flat, and focused on execution. If you're eager to learn, grow, and make a real impact, this is the place for you.

Role Overview

We're seeking a Marketing Intern ready to dive into hands-on digital marketing and brand growth. You'll collaborate closely with growth, creative, and marketplace teams to learn how 7–8 figure CPG brands scale—from content testing and influencer outreach to full-funnel optimization.

This hybrid internship requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at our Vancouver HQ, where you'll be surrounded by top performers and gain exposure to fast-moving eCommerce environments on Amazon, TikTok, and Shopify.

You won't be running errands or watching from the sidelines — you'll contribute directly to digital campaigns, content ideation, product launches, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with digital campaigns across Amazon, TikTok Shops, Shopify, and other marketing channels including social media, email, SMS, and content marketing as needed.
  • Support copywriting projects and scriptwriting for marketing content.
  • Source ideas, spot trends, and organize creative assets to support content development.
  • Help coordinate influencer and user-generated content (UGC) outreach and asset collection.
  • Conduct competitive and market research to inform new product launches and campaigns.
  • Participate in growth team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and post-launch performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with creative and media teams to QA assets and campaigns.
  • Learn and contribute using tools like Airtable, Google Sheets, and Slack to support campaign execution.

Note: This role will involve varied tasks that may shift monthly depending on business needs, so flexibility is essential.

What You'll Learn
  • How high-growth consumer brands scale in real time.
  • What makes content convert across TikTok, Amazon, and landing pages.
  • The foundations of paid media, funnel strategy, and influencer marketing.
  • How to think like a growth operator—not just a marketer.
  • How fast-moving teams collaborate to launch, test, and scale products.
Ideal Candidate Profile

You Might Be a Fit If You:

  • Are a student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Are obsessed with TikTok, creators, and emerging consumer trends.
  • Want to work in a startup-like environment with real ownership and impact.
  • Are curious, reliable, organized, and proactive.
  • Want to break into digital marketing, growth, or brand strategy.

Not a Fit If You:

  • Prefer watching from the sidelines rather than actively contributing.
  • Are unwilling or unable to work in-office with the team at least 3 days per week.
  • Struggle to manage fast-paced work environments or shifting priorities.
Requirements
  • Passion for marketing, eCommerce, or consumer brands.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Available to work 3+ days/week onsite in Vancouver.
  • Bonus: experience managing your own social media or side projects.
Why Join Pearl West?
  • Real Mentorship: Work with experienced operators in performance marketing.
  • Hands-On Learning: Real work with measurable impact, not just theory.
  • Career Exposure: Build resume-ready skills and open doors to full-time roles.
  • Culture: High-performance, low-ego, and direct communication.
  • Paid Internship: Competitive compensation with growth potential.
