ROLE OVERVIEW
The HCM Project Coordinator role is an entry-level position that is perfect for someone who is looking to enter the workforce and grow within a company. The Project Coordinator works closely with Project Managers to help manage the Implementation phase of CMiC software. This role is responsible for performing various administrative and coordinative tasks such as preparing project schedules and maintaining project documentation and customer-driven communication.
Reports to: Senior Payroll and HR Implementation Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate cross-functional HCM projects, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications.
- Act as the liaison between internal teams and clients to ensure clarity, alignment, and project efficiency.
- Lead customer implementations as needed, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Break down projects into actionable tasks, assign responsibilities, and support schedule management.
- Track milestones, monitor progress, and escalate issues to maintain project momentum.
- Maintain detailed project documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Identify risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities to enhance project outcomes.
- Ensure evolving client needs are met while upholding quality standards.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, reliable work ethic.
- Adapt quickly with minimal onboarding and take initiative in dynamic environments.
- Preferably experienced in project coordination/management, acting as a bridge between teams and clients.
- Willing to travel up to 10% for client site visits.
Requirements
- Must have unrestricted U.S. visa and ability to travel internationally without limitations
- Excellent communication and consultative skills; able to build strong relationships with business users, team members and service providers
- University Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience implementing on-premises or cloud-based enterprise software, multi-site software solutions is an asset
- Able to manage a change management process – effectively communicates project changes, builds commitment and overcomes resistance, prepares and supports those affected by change
