Shift: 12 hours continental Rotating Days & Nights 7am-7pm/7pm-7am

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate the mixing line
• Continually perform safe work practices and wear personal protective equipment
• Properly formulate the required crumb rubber mixture
• Differentiate types of raw materials
• Safely unload/load trailers in less than 1 hour
• Keep the mixing area tidy
• Know start-up, shut-down and lock-out procedures
• Perform safe operation of forklifts
• Know how to use and know where all the emergency stops, fire hose, and fire extinguishers are in work area
• Communicate effectively between office staff, truck drivers, and maintenance & mat- making departments
• Maintain an absenteeism rate of 3.5% or less
• Perform other work related duties as requested

Requirements:

• Must be able to follow detailed instructions and work processes
• Must possess in-house forklift training
• Must be able to work independently
• Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Must have a high mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to identify new opportunities for improvement
