We are seeking candidates with food industry experience to join a well-developed, friendly Deli team at a local meat production company in Hamilton! You must be eligible for full-time (40 hours per week) until at least December 2025. Must be comfortable handling cooked and raw meat products (including pork). Previous Deli experience is required as you will be using deli slicers. Clear communication and customer service experience is non-negotiable!

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and identify customer needs
• Explain products to customers
• Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
• Enter and process customer orders
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints
• Using Deli machines and packing food items
• Cleaning of deli equipment and work surfaces as required

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a deli clerk role (or food handling environment)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
