apetito Canada is a dynamic mid-size company in Canada and part of the apetito Group, leader in the supply of meal solutions for hospitals, care homes and meals on wheels agencies across Germany, the UK, Canada, Denmark, Spain, United States and the Netherlands. We are also the parent company of Heart to Home Meals (HTHM), North America's premier private home meal delivery service for seniors. The success of Heart to Home Meals has been based on the development of a successful franchise business model (c. 20 Franchisees) and a clear focus on the core senior customer base.
Our production facility, head office and franchise support center are in Orleans, Ottawa and we have two warehouses located in Brampton and Ayr, Ontario.
The role
As the Business Technology Manager at apetito Canada, you will play a pivotal role in the successful technology transformation strategy which include implementation of a new ERP & CRM system and infrastructure upgrade which are critical to our organization's operational efficiency and strategic growth. This position requires a dynamic and experienced professional who can lead complex projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure that our technology project are seamlessly integrated into our business processes.
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of technology project implementation projects, from initial planning and requirements gathering to system configuration, testing, and go-live support with the support of the group IT team located in Germany, the Canadian internal team and some external consultant. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments, including finance, operations, and supply chain, to understand their needs and ensure that the IT systems meet their requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include developing detailed project plans, managing project timelines and budgets, and identifying and mitigating risks to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope. You will also be responsible for coordinating with external vendors and consultants, ensuring that they deliver high-quality services and solutions.
A critical aspect of this role is to provide training and support to end-users, ensuring that they are fully equipped to use the new ERP systems effectively. You will develop training materials, conduct workshops, and provide ongoing support to address any issues or questions that arise post-implementation.
Additionally, you will continuously evaluate and improve current processes and workflows, leveraging your expertise to drive efficiencies and optimize system performance. You will stay up-to-date with the latest technologies solutions, recommending and implementing best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of ERP & CRM implementation projects.
· Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
· Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
· Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
· Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and progress.
· Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
· Coordinate the training and support end-users on the new technology.
· Continuously evaluate and improve ERP and systems processes and workflows.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· International experience cooperating with Head Office and Group IT.
· Proven experience in managing ERP implementation projects.
· Strong understanding of ERP systems and their functionalities.
· Excellent project management and organizational skills.
· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
· Need to have a valid passport.
