Job Summary:
As a Commercial Roofing Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple roofing projects. You will act as the primary liaison between clients, site crews, and vendors-ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end roofing projects, from award to closeout
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
- Review and interpret contracts, specs, drawings, and SOWs
- Schedule and lead project kick-off, progress, and closeout meetings
- Track project milestones and budgets; identify and address issues early
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety and quality compliance
- Prepare and submit change orders, RFI's, and submittals as needed
- Maintain strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensure accurate documentation, reports, and project records
- Support safety programs and ensure all operations comply with legislation and company policies
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial roofing project management
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems (BUR, SBS, EPDM, TPO, metal, etc.)
- Experience reading and interpreting construction documents
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize under pressure
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required
- PMP certification or relevant construction management training is an asset
