Your RoleAs the Talent Acquisition Specialist, the successful candidate will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent. This role involves full-cycle recruitment, employer branding, and strategic partnerships to ensure we meet our current and future workforce needs.Day to Day

• Lead full-cycle recruitment to ensure a seamless and positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and craft compelling job postings.
• Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using online platforms, career fairs, local communities, and industry events.
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for future roles.
• Stay current on industry trends, recruitment best practices, and relevant federal and provincial employment legislation.
• Promote the company through community outreach, job fairs, and partnership development with educational institutions.
• Use recruitment metrics to track hiring performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support onboarding in collaboration with HR and hiring leaders to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in Human Resources, Agriculture, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience with full cycle recruitment.
• Strong technical aptitude with hands-on experience in an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Microsoft 365 Application Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must be available to work on site.
• Ability to travel as required.

Additional Assets

• Previous experience in an agriculture, manufacturing or operations environment.
• Certified HR designation or working towards.
• Bilingual in English and French is a plus.
