Requirements:
- Must be able to travel to the Waterloo Region.
- Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to communicate and take direction.
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to recognize, communicate, and eliminate hazards.
Responsibilities:
- All functions of sewer crew, mainline, laterals, working in congested areas, dirt moving.
- Interprets information on grade stakes.
- Coordination with crew and management.
- Inspects and maintains the equipment.
- Performs other tasks as needed.
- Complies with the Company Safety Program.
- Organization of project details locates, and performance objectives.
- Communication of any discrepancy.
- Ability to plan ahead.
- Cognitively aware of job tasks and planning.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday.
- Overtime.
- Weekend availability.
- Ability to work 10-14hours a day.
Work Location: Mostly Waterloo Region some travel in Southern Ontario.
