Position Summary
As a DevOps Specialist in our Driver & Vehicle group, you will play a crucial role in our newly formed Secure Image Management Systems (SIMS) DevOps Product Team. In this role you will work collaboratively with other Product Team members and design, implement and maintain the underlying systems and infrastructure for our new cloud-based SIMS application.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment of software
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) principles for provisioning and configuration management
- Collaborate with development teams to improve code quality and deployment processes
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Implement and maintain security measures through risk assessment and vulnerability management
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes, tools, and systems
- Various other duties and responsibilities
Education and Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related field) or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- Knowledge of the following:
- DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Cloud computing
- Containerization and orchestration
- Infrastructure as code (IaC)
Experience
- 2+ years of DevOps or related experience
Technical Environment
- Languages: Python, Bash or PowerShell
- Test Automation Tools: Selenium and JUnit
- Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD Tools: Git, Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo, SonarQube
- Monitoring Tools: Prometheus, Grafana or Datadog
