Cost Analyst Responsibilities:

• Analyze manufacturing costs such as BMO's and prepare regular reports on cost variances.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Monitor standard costs and ensure accuracy in cost accounting records.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate cost-saving initiatives.

• Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to strategic decision-making.

• Other duties as assigned

Cost Analyst Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in cost analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

• AS400 experience is a big plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing.

• Knowledge of standard costing, BOM analysis, and inventory valuation.
