Location: Vaughan, Ontario (serving the GTA and surrounding areas)
Start Date: Immediate
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $55,000 per year + Commission
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Position Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Builder Sales Representative to expand our market presence among residential and commercial builders, contractors, and developers. In this client-facing role, you will use a consultative, relationship-focused approach to drive sales growth, provide technical guidance, and support project execution from initial inquiry to final installation. You will collaborate closely with internal teams—including estimating, operations, and installation—to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities by identifying and engaging with general contractors, builders, and construction firms

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractor accounts, serving as their primary point of contact

  • Conduct job site visits for measurements, technical assessments, and consultations

  • Prepare accurate estimates, tenders, and quotes based on project specifications and construction drawings

  • Track leads, follow-ups, and sales activity using CRM software

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing, scheduling, and material logistics

  • Support clients throughout the project lifecycle, including scheduling, issue resolution, and post-installation follow-up

  • Represent the company professionally at job sites, industry events, and trade shows

  • Maintain a solid understanding of garage doors, dock systems, installation processes, and industry standards

  • Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in construction, building materials, or a related industry

  • Technical understanding of overhead doors and construction practices is an asset

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing multiple client accounts

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage complex timelines and deliverables

Education & Requirements

  • College diploma or bachelor's degree preferred

  • Experience in sales or technical construction roles required

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory
