Job Title: IT Business Development Manager – Staffing & MSP Sales
Position Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and driven IT Business Development Manager with proven experience in Staffing Solutions and MSP Sales across North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by building relationships with MSPs, VMS platforms, enterprise clients, and key decision-makers within the IT industry. This role requires a deep understanding of contingent staffing, managed services delivery, and vendor onboarding processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities with MSPs, VMS providers, and enterprise clients across the U.S. and Canada.
Develop strategic partnerships with Tier-1 clients and national vendors in the IT staffing and managed services space.
Respond to RFPs and submit proposals for IT staffing and on-site support service contracts.
Work closely with recruitment and service delivery teams to fulfill client requirements quickly and accurately.
Expand client accounts by offering add-on services such as Field Support, Break/Fix, Cloud Staffing, and Cybersecurity Resources.
Use CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) to manage the sales pipeline, track leads, and generate reports.
Attend networking events, trade shows, and vendor summits to represent the company and generate leads.
Stay updated on MSP market trends, VMS tools (e.g., Fieldglass, Beeline, IQNavigator), and rate benchmarks.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
3–7 years of business development experience in IT Staffing and MSP environments.
Deep understanding of staffing models (W2, C2C, 1099, T4), VMS/MSP engagement, and contingent workforce solutions.
Proven success in onboarding clients across North America, especially U.S. states and Canadian provinces.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with platforms like SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, Workday VNDLY, and Bullhorn.
Knowledge of compliance standards and labor laws across U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions.
Familiarity with vendor onboarding processes for Fortune 500 and public sector clients.
Previous experience working with recruitment teams to close high-volume or niche technical roles.
