Job Overview:
You will prepare and serve free breakfast for hotel guests each day. You will also keep the breakfast area clean and tidy to make sure guests are happy and the hotel runs smoothly.
Main Job Duties:
- Cook basic breakfast foods like eggs, sausage, bacon and waffles.
- Keep drink stations filled with coffee, juice, and milk.
- Set up breakfast items like muffins, cereal, and pastries for guests to help themselves.
- Clean and clear tables when guests are done eating.
- Wipe up any spills.
- Take out the trash.
- Wash and store dishes and serving tools.
- Put away any leftover food with proper labels.
- Refill food and supplies when they run low.
- Follow all health and safety rules for food preparation and cleanliness.
- Keep track of what food and supplies are needed each day.
Experience and Skills:
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Must be able to work long hours if needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Good at handling multiple tasks at once.
- Able to talk and work well with guests and co-workers.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
