Position: Electrical Estimator
Location: Edmonton, AB
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000 - $130,000 per year
Expected Start Date: June 27, 2025

• Estimate costs for solar and electrical projects, including commercial base buildings, tenant improvements, LED upgrades, battery storage, and EV charging.

• Analyze historical data to refine and improve estimating accuracy.

• Participate in preliminary electrical system design.

• Prepare customer-facing proposals including scope, inclusions, and exclusions.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

• Identify and pursue bidding opportunities via platforms such as Merx, APC, Construction Connect, and Compass.

• Stay up to date on new technologies, products, incentives, and industry standards.

• Represent the company at site visits and during the bidding process.

• Maintain clear communication with internal teams and assist with permit applications, construction drawings, and record documentation.

• Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies.

• 5+ years of commercial electrical experience

• Journeyperson Electrician certification

• 3+ years of estimating experience

• Proficiency in Accubid and understanding of CEC requirements

• Comfortable using Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Excel/Word, and SharePoint/OneDrive

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean driving record

• Understanding of solar installation methods and theory

• Experience with battery storage or EV charging systems
