Job Description

Summary:

This position will be vital to the day-to-day and long-term goals of the business. The individual needs to be highly motivated and able to work in a flexible work environment. As Borealis is currently growing, the individual will have the opportunity to grow with the company.

This position will be responsible for installing new tanks, performing yard maintenance, and handling fuel deliveries. Customer service is emphasized here as this is a key role for Borealis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate the Crane truck
  • Install new Borealis tanks
  • Evacuate the fuel in competitor tanks (customer-owned fuel) and return tanks to the competitor's yard.
  • Operate the Bulk fuel delivery truck
  • Interface with MOGO in the bulk truck
  • Receive materials and organize the yard for efficient operations
  • Maintain office organization.
  • Maintain safety, inspections, maintenance and compliance records
  • using multiple complex software programs, such as Field Service (Netsuite), to document service
  • Keep a digital driver's log

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of the propane industry
  • Customer Relations and Sales experience
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are required
  • Friendly and outgoing

Education/Experience Requirement:

  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Class 3 driving license with Air brake endorsement
  • TDG certification
  • LPG Bulk truck delivery course PTI 300-1 (if delivering fuel)
  • Crane operation certificate
  • Proficiency using technology/software

Job Type:

Full-time work from our Central Alberta office and the ability to work after hours on occasion. Hourly position with variable work requirements depending on the season.
