Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive (SAE) to drive new business acquisition and strategic account growth across enterprise clients. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to closing complex software services deals. This is a quota-carrying role ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a consultative, value-driven sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across mid-market and enterprise accounts
- Drive strategic account development and build long-term client relationships
- Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, and technical teams to craft tailored solutions
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle: discovery, proposal creation, pricing, negotiation, and closing
- Own forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Represent Celestial Systems at industry events, partner meetings, and customer engagements
- Stay current on industry trends in cloud, data, AI, and application modernization
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of B2B sales experience in a software services or consulting environment
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota in enterprise-level sales
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Dataiku), and modern software development
- Experience selling to technical and business stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Data/Engineering)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or technical background a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Microsoft, Dataiku, or Snowflake ecosystems
- Background in selling modernization, data & AI, or platform engineering services
- Familiarity with account-based selling or strategic enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN)
