Job Title: Cloud Engineer

Job Type: Full-Time Permanent

Location: Remote for the most part (in office a couple times a month in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary or Vancouver)

Salary: $110,000 - $115,000/yr

Job Description

Insight Global are looking for skilled Cloud Engineers to create cloud engineering designs to develop solutions for clients, supporting business decisions. Provide end-to-end technical system solutions, in line with business strategy and objectives. Work closely with the business/client to meet requirements and incorporate broader aspects such as overall product costs/revenue, data privacy, business continuity, information security, and integration with other systems. Ensure relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices are applied correctly across technology programs/projects and products

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud etc.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure design and implementation.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python).
• Understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
• Ability to work closely with business and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Consulting Background

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc).

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

• Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
