Job Title: Manager – Fund Operations & Projects
Location: Toronto ON (Hybrid)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Manager to support Canadian Wealth Operations. In this role, you will provide expert operational support to ensure the successful implementation of various initiatives impacting fund operations and accounting across Canada and North America.
You will collaborate with multiple business areas, assess risks and financial impacts, and help ensure projects are delivered smoothly and effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the implementation of Canadian Operations projects, including post-implementation follow-up
- Document process improvements and ensure adherence to best practices
- Identify operational or business risks tied to initiatives and communicate them to leadership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
- Use your expertise to explain risks and impacts on operations and downstream processes
- Ensure all fund system setups meet project requirements
- Coordinate project tasks with internal teams, custodians, and valuation agents
- Conduct impact assessments, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies
- Review operating models, develop efficient workflows, and recommend implementation strategies
- Develop tools and controls to improve operational efficiency and data quality
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Requirements / Must-Have Skills
- 5–7 years of experience in the financial industry
- 5+ years of experience in fund accounting and back-office operations
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including investment funds, insurance funds, and investment securities products
- Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate Excel required)
