Job Description:Fagan Concrete Foundations is seeking an experienced Concrete Foundation Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing foundation projects, with a strong focus on laying out foundations and setting precise elevations. This role requires excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team to ensure the successful completion of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution:
- Oversee all phases of concrete foundation projects from initial site survey to final inspection.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate foundation plans with overall construction goals.
Foundation Layout and Elevation Setting:
- Conduct precise layout and elevation setting using advanced surveying tools (GPS, total station, transits, laser levels).
- Ensure foundations are set accurately according to design specifications and building codes.
- Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff, promoting a culture of safety and professional development.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing project updates.
- Prepare and present progress reports, budget reports, and project documentation.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
Qualifications:Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete foundation construction and with at least 3 years in a project management role.
- Demonstrated experience in laying out foundations and setting elevations using advanced surveying tools.
Skills:
- Proficient in the use of GPS, total station, transits, laser levels, and other surveying equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
