Position Overview
As the Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving new business opportunities and supporting the growth of our client base. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, identifying RFP opportunities, closing small-scale sales, and maintaining an active sales pipeline. You will also manage quoting and contract preparation to support a seamless client onboarding process.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable conducting outreach, building client relationships, and taking ownership of moving opportunities through the sales cycle. You are a natural go-getter who excels at collaborating cross-functionally and takes pride in delivering top-notch client experiences. Your work will be crucial in keeping the sales pipeline moving efficiently and ensuring a seamless client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Research, identify and engage new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, monitoring RFP or tender listings.
Lead Qualification
- Evaluate and provide timely follow-up to incoming leads generated by the Marketing Team through phone, email, client meetings, or other outreach methods to understand project vision, readiness and budget.
- Collaborate with senior team members as required based on the clients project parameters.
Sales Execution
- Full ownership of the sales cycle of smaller scale projects between $10K-$100K from handling incoming order requests, quoting, and closing them to championing an exceptional post sale experience.
Quote & Order Management
- Prepare accurate quotes for incoming order inquiries and tender pricing requests and provide necessary follow-ups.
- Collaborate with Finance, Production, and Install to coordinate deposits, contract requirements, and order timelines.
Product Knowledge
- Maintain expert product knowledge of Bienenstocks offerings including natures instruments and Outclass outdoor classrooms.
Pipeline Management & Metric Accountability
- Accurately maintain all lead activity, sales metrics, and closing forecasts in the CRM and related software to provide reliable data to internal departments and build a healthy pipeline of prospects.
Client Communications & Internal Liaison
- Collaborate with internal teams to proactively inform clients on order status relating to production and shipping.
- Stay informed on industry trends, client needs, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to improve sales strategies and inform marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience of proven sales success in sales support, order processing, or customer service in a client-facing environment.
- Experience with selling outdoor equipment, landscape product sales, RFP documentation or related fields and activities is an asset.
- Proficient with HubSpot CRM, Buildertrend, and Google Workspace; confident in managing complex sales cycles.
- A completed diploma or bachelor's degree in business or a related field of study.
