Position Title: Data Governance Team Lead

Location: Fredericton, NB (Hybrid – Onsite 2 days/week or biweekly)
Start Date: June 1, 2025
End Date: June 1, 2028 (with two optional 1-year extensions)
Work Schedule: 7.25 hours/day, full-time
Estimated Effort: 300 workdays
Role Summary:
SNB is seeking an experienced Data Governance Team Lead to manage data governance efforts for a large-scale ERP program. This includes leading a team of Business Analysts, overseeing data quality and cleansing initiatives, and ensuring the implementation of data standards and governance practices across government departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage a team of nine Data Governance Business Analysts.
• Collaborate with Data Trustees and Stewards across government departments.
• Lead daily operations of the ERP Data Governance Team.
• Oversee data cleansing and business user support activities.
• Define and enforce data standards and performance metrics.
• Address issues related to data governance, quality, and protection.
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in information management or related work.
• At least 5 years of experience leading a team of 10 or more direct reports.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Experience (Scored Requirements):
• 5+ years in data cleansing and standardizing complex legacy datasets.
• 5+ years in large-scale SDLC projects with concurrent releases and streams.
• 5+ years in data integration, lifecycle management, and standards implementation.
• 3+ years in Master Data Management.
• 5+ years in data governance and protection practices.
• 3+ years in Records and Information Management.
• Participation in at least one SaaS cloud implementation involving business transformation.
• ERP experience, preferably in HR, Finance, or Procurement modules.

• Must be available during business hours (Mon–Fri, 8:15 AM–4:30 PM AST).
