MUST HAVE: eCommerce/Retail Supply Chain Management using IBM Sterling DOM/OMS application

Description:

• Must have experience in testing of business applications or components in eCommerce/Retail Supply Chain Management using IBM Sterling DOM/OMS application.

• Must have minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Functional, Regression and E2E manual testing of IBM Sterling DOM/OMS application.

• Must understand different modules or concepts of IBM Sterling DOM/OMS like,

 Order Capture (Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Transfer Orders)

 Delivery Methods (BOSS/BOPIS)

 Sourcing & Scheduling

 Catalog Management - Item Creation and Load

 Inventory Management

 Organization Hierarchy

 Agent & Integration Servers

 API Tester Framework

 Store Console & Fulfilment process - Pick, Pack, Containers, Shipping and Manifest Labels, etc,

 Order Console

 DOM DB Tables

• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.

• Execute manual test cases to identify software defects and ensure functionality aligns with requirements.

• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements.

• Document and report bugs, issues, and inconsistencies in a clear and detailed manner.

• Perform regression testing to verify that fixes and updates do not introduce new issues.

• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Validate user interfaces, workflows, and overall user experience.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.

• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

• Familiarity with Test case management tool (e.g., qTest).

• Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

• Perform hands-on testing of APIs and web services using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar. Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and tools.

• Familiarity with web services (RESTful and SOAP) and related testing techniques.

• Basic understanding of software development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

• Have strong communication skills, analytical, problem-solving abilities and collaboration, along with attention to detail and adaptability.

• Able to manage your time effectively and meet deadlines is crucial.

• Knowledge of SQL and database testing is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
