Supreme Steel is
currently looking for a quality driven, detail orientated, experienced Steel Plate Burner to join our production team
at our Bridge fabrication facility in Edmonton, AB. This is a full time unionized position for the day shift. The Steel Plate burner will be responsible for the layout and cutting of structural steel plate components using a dual torch radiograph. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Steel Plate Burner will play a crucial role in the fabrication process, ensuring that all materials meet quality standards and project timelines.

With a demonstrated ability to learn and gain knowledge quickly, preferred candidates will possess the following attributes:

• Previous experience using radiograph and/or oxyfuel cutting equipment
• Understand preheating requirements as per code/specifications
• Metal Fabrication experience is highly desirable
• Ability to read and interpret drawings to determine cutting patterns and dimensions
• Layout experience is an asset
• Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations are required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail

There is opportunity for this to be a dual role for those candidates with Structural Steel Plate Fitting/Metal Fabrication experience.
