This is a full-time position with the regular working hours of 6:00AM-2:30PM Monday-Friday. The starting wage for this position will be $20-22 per hour depending on experience. Benefits offered following a successful probationary period.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble products according to specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as necessary.
- Operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring it is running efficiently and safely.
- Inspect products during and after assembly to ensure they meet quality standards, reporting any defects or issues to supervisors.
- Load and unload materials, moving them to appropriate workstations, and ensuring they are handled safely and efficiently.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, including packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, reporting any issues that require repair or replacement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools and materials are stored properly and that the workspace is free of hazards.
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and improve workflow efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
PREFERRED/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction or production environment is preferred, but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and machinery operation.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in following instructions and ensuring product quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to following all safety guidelines and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to take on various tasks as needed.
