About The Role

As an Insights Consultant, you will be responsible for the implementation of insight projects and

the development of reports and presentations. This includes interpreting data, synthesizing

analyses and managing client communication. This is a collaborative role that both supports

and is supported by various team members.

Understanding and solving complex business problems comes naturally to you. You will

collaborate with the wider team and our clients through brainstorming, the creation of

breakthrough innovation product ideas or thinking through solving complex business questions.

The ideal candidate will bring to the table a demonstrable passion for story telling, curiosity,

and problem solving.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive project research and analysis to create actionable insights and

recommendations.

• Build presentation materials that clearly communicate findings and recommendations to

clients and internal teams.

• Work cohesively across several projects and client teams simultaneously.

• Support project leadership by attending, organizing, and participating in client meetings,

workshops, and presentations.

• Manage day-to-day relationships and project management with clients.

• Monitor project timelines to make sure the assigned projects are on track.

• Participate in business development.

• Contribute to internal firm activities (e.g., business development, and culture at Leo &

Dragon)

• In addition to your role as an Insights Consultant at Leo & Dragon, you will also manage a

growing incubator consumer brand that is currently available at natural and speciality

grocery retailers in Canada and the US. This brand management experience will

complement your skills as an Insights Consultant.

You will be reporting directly to Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Leo & Dragon. Your

contract of employment will solely be with Leo & Dragon.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of marketing, insights or strategy experience in a variety of positions both

internally and externally (top-tier CPG, Market Research or Consulting firm experience

strongly preferred)

• Bachelor's in Social Science, Marketing or Business discipline

• Highly analytical, motivated, decisive thought leader with excellent managerial skills

• Strategic mindset with an ability to think broadly, refine questions, and develop analytical

frameworks

• Outstanding project management skills

• Agile – i.e. ability to quickly adapt to change and scope

• Strong curiosity and passion for the consumer and culture

• Advanced PowerPoint, Canva, CapCut, and Excel skills

• Strong data analysis and reporting skills

• High Emotional Intelligence and verbal and written communication skills that educate and

influence senior leaders

• Love of Consumer-Packaged Goods, Food Service, Apparel or Beauty (experience in

consumer industries preferred)

• Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences
