About the Role
This position plays a key leadership role within the HR team, driving end-to-end recruitment strategy and execution. This is not just a hands-on recruiting position—it's a leadership role where you'll shape processes, manage a team, and work closely with business and HR leaders across the country to meet evolving workforce needs.
You'll be responsible for overseeing high-volume recruitment activity across multiple regions, coaching and mentoring a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, and ensuring best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experiences. You'll also contribute to national projects, optimize vendor relationships, and develop data-driven hiring strategies that align with broader organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of recruitment professionals, providing mentorship, performance management, and daily support
- Partner with senior leaders and HR colleagues to forecast and deliver on hiring needs, with a focus on high-volume roles
- Design and execute effective, inclusive sourcing strategies that strengthen the employer brand and support talent pipeline development
- Manage third-party vendor relationships and recruitment budgets, ensuring alignment with national hiring strategy
- Analyze talent metrics and market insights to inform recruitment strategies and report on key performance indicators
- Support continuous improvement of recruitment practices, tools, and systems in collaboration with national HR initiatives
- Lead and contribute to enterprise-wide talent acquisition programs and strategic projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a strong track record in high-volume recruitment
- Previous leadership or team oversight experience is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, metric-driven environments
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and comfort with recruitment technologies and reporting tools
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline; CHRP/CHRL is an asset, not a requirement
