We're hiring an Estimator & Metallurgical Project Engineer to support our client - a leader in precision pipe bending for critical oil & gas, water, and mining applications. This role combines customer-facing project coordination with technical R&D - ideal for someone who wants to grow into a subject matter expert in materials, bending, and heat treatment processes.
What You'll DoPrepare accurate project quotations based on technical drawings and customer discussions
Serve as the main point of contact from RFQ to delivery
Coordinate internally with production and quality teams
Interpret specs and codes (e.g., CSA Z662, ASME B31.3, API 5L)
Support or lead R&D projects on material performance and bend optimization
Collaborate with internal and external testing teams for metallurgical evaluations
Degree in Metallurgical/Materials Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering with materials focus
0-4 years of experience (co-op/internship experience considered)
Strong communication and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Detail-oriented and eager to learn technical codes and standards
Experience with ERP/CRM systems is a bonus
