Role OverviewWe are seeking a Restructuring and Insolvency Senior Associate to join our client's high-performing Deals team, within the Deal Integration and Valuation Realisation function. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on complex, cross-border restructuring, insolvency, and transaction engagements—particularly within the financial services sector—alongside senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver restructuring and insolvency assignments from planning to completion
- Prepare and present financial analyses, valuations, and reports
- Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring timelines and quality standards
- Contribute to post-deal integration and value realisation strategies
- Identify and address risks or issues during engagements
- Build strong client relationships and support stakeholder communication
- Mentor junior team members and support their technical development
- Use market tools to extract insights and inform decision-making
- Apply structured communication to influence outcomes
- Continuously seek feedback and development opportunities
- Minimum 3 years' experience in corporate insolvency & restructuring, ideally in professional services
- ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent accounting qualification required
- A recognised insolvency qualification (e.g., JIEB, CIRP) is advantageous
- Solid knowledge of insolvency law in common law jurisdictions; cross-border experience a plus
- Strong analytical, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments under pressure
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and conflict management skills
- Ethical, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement
