• Leading and mentoring the finance team to ensure they are skilled and knowledgeable about current financial practices.
• Developing and overseeing financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
• Conducting financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Monitoring and analyzing financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of the company's strategic goals and initiatives.
• Supporting business growth through financial planning and investment analysis.
• Fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Communicating financial performance and strategies to stakeholders and board members.
• Building and maintaining relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Utilizing technology to improve financial processes and reporting.
• Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, innovation, and standardization.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or Master's preferred).
• Professional designations such as CPA, or CFA required.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in the manufacturing industry, food and beverage experience considered an asset.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
