Job Summary:
We are looking for an IT Technician with a strong technical background and hands-on experience in desktop/laptop support, printer repair, and network troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience in both onsite and remote support environments and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite and remote IT support to clients.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware.
- Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs, and part replacements (especially laptops and printers).
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
- Support software installations and updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions.
- Ensure timely completion of tickets in line with SLA requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, preferably with field service exposure.
- Solid hands-on experience in laptop and printer repair and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and remote support tools.
- Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for onsite roles).
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or vendor-specific credentials are a plus.
