Job Description

We are looking for a Manager, Stakeholder Management Unit, you will lead the implementation of key initiative that make a real difference in Supply Ontario's mandate to modernize the public procurement. In this pivotal role, you'll be the driving force behind how we engage, influence, and collaborate with our partners across the province.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the design and execution of stakeholder engagement strategies across sectors to support key initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide a team of Change Management Leads, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and organizational goals.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships and foster trust through inclusive engagement and effective communications.
  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of change management plans and training programs.
  • Collaborate across departments to influence policy implementation, address service needs, and support strategic planning.
  • Support the development of products and services that reflect real client needs, informed by stakeholder insights.
  • Continue to operational planning, performing reporting, and risk management as part of the leadership team.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, diversity, and accountability while managing resources and driving team performance.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • 6-8 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, change management, or program evaluation.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role, with a proven ability to inspire and lead teams.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and relationship- building skills.
  • Expertise in user needs assessment and stakeholder engagement, combined with experience designing and delivering training to support operational and policy change adoption.
  • Experience with leading complex change initiatives.
  • A passion for public service, innovation, and making a real difference.
  • Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications in Change Management, Organizational Development, or Project Management would be an asset.

Supply Ontario offers a competitive compensation package including benefits and defined benefit pension plan.

The selected candidate will be required to reside and work in Ontario and be legally eligible to work in Canada.

This job offers the opportunity to work from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement; at the time of posting, this position would require in-office presence 3 days per week, based on current operational requirements.
