Groundsman Position

Position Overview:
REAL-R is seeking a dependable and motivated Groundsman to join our tree service team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will work closely with arborists to support tree removal, pruning, and site cleanup. This role is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic who is eager to learn the arborist trade.

Key Responsibilities:
● Set up work sites, including signage and traffic cones, ensuring a safe and organized environment
● Assist arborists with tree limb handling and rope operations
● Help direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the work zone
● Operate and maintain tools and equipment (training provided)
● Load, move, and stack wood and brush
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the worksite

Requirements:
● Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
● Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
● Strong work ethic and positive “can-do” attitude
● Willingness to learn and grow within the arborist trade
● Experience in tree work, landscaping, or manual labor preferred but not required

Compensation:
● $20-25 per hour and will be based on experience and knowledge
