Your new role

The open role is for a Project Schedule Manager, reporting directly to the Senior VP of Construction Operations. They will be responsible for managing activities associated with the planning and oversight of all project scheduling. They will work hand in hand with the construction and procurement teams to make sure that the complete schedule is communicated effectively and that it is accurate. This Project Schedule Manager will provide and maintain look-ahead schedules for multiple areas and phases of work. Furthermore, they will communicate with site personnel, project managers, the pre-construction team and trades to ensure everyone is on the same page. They will provide regular progress and schedule updates to management via the team and do monthly reporting.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful Project Schedule Manager will have at least 10 years working in construction doing scheduling. They will have a degree in construction, engineering or related field and be sound working with Oracle Primavera P6. They will be able to coordinate and work with General Supers, Project Managers and the Pre-Construction team, including estimators. This candidate must be well-organized and analytical and have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, with other members of the organization. They will be able to read and understand construction drawings, have up-to-date safety training and strong knowledge of site operations would be an asset.

What you'll get in return

The successful candidate will work out of our client's office 5 days a week, receive a base salary dependent on experience between $140,000 and $170,000 plus a bonus, vacation and full comprehensive benefits amongst other perks.
