Job Description

Are you ready to step into a Vice President role with an entrepreneurial fast scaling company? This dynamic Belville company is reshaping the distribution business in the home improvement and construction supply space.

Our client is seeking a strategic minded, and execution-focused Vice President to lead day-to-day operations and help chart the course for growth. This role is ideal for someone mid-career hungry to grow with a strong background in operational leadership who is excited by the opportunity to scale a $30M business to its next phase.

  • Vice President Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of a lean light-manufacturing and distribution business with 15+ staff and over 500 dealers across North America.
  • Implement processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support scalability
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team; shape the leadership bench.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the founders on business strategy, expansion planning, and M&A opportunities.
  • Build relationships with key dealers and partners.
  • Support warehouse/logistics, customer service, and product distribution across Canada and the US.
  • Bring a systems mindset. The company is developing internal platforms, using integrated tools and building a technical hub across its portfolio.
  • The successful candidate has: 7+ years as a leader in an entrepreneurial company that has experienced significant growth under your leadership.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Business or Engineering.
  • A builder with a passion for scaling, optimizing, and leading teams.
  • Tech-savvy or engineering-oriented, with the ability to understand systems and drive operational innovation.
  • A strong executor, someone who thrives on ownership, accountability, and making things happen.
  • Comfortable with financials, including EBITDA-driven decision-making and cost analysis.
  • A strategic, consultative relationship builder.
  • Willing to commute occasionally to other parts of Canada
  • Entrepreneurial in spirit but ready to embed in a team for long-term growth and impact.
  • Compensation and benefits:The discussed salary range is $180,000 - $200,000 depending on experience
  • Profit sharing linked to EBITDA.
