The Role:
We're looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to help shape and execute Vendry's social media presence. This is a paid, part-time role, that is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for storytelling, a love of marketing, and experience with video editing, writing social copy, and managing content calendars. You'll work closely with our team to craft video-first content and ensure consistent engagement across platforms.
This is a great opportunity for someone eager to build a brand's social presence from the ground up—no need to be on camera, but you should be comfortable editing content, writing captions, and managing the posting process.
Responsibilities:
Video Editing & Content Creation
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
- Work with existing content (e.g., recorded interviews, internal footage) to craft compelling edits
- Coordinate with Vendry's CEO to turn thought leadership into snackable social content
Social Media Management
- Write engaging, on-brand copy for posts across platforms
- Schedule and publish posts on a regular cadence
- Monitor engagement and help identify trends or content ideas from performance data
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years experience in social media or content marketing (internships count!)
- Portfolio or examples of your editing and copywriting work
- Experience growing or managing social pages for a brand or project
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter comfortable working independently with clear direction
- Familiarity with editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
Compensation:
- $1,000/month CAD
- ~10 hours/week (flexible scheduling)
- Fully remote
