Job Description
  • Assist in new client setup and client maintenance processes to ensure accuracyof profiles in line with contracts, policies and regulations
  • Provide support for ongoing satisfaction of clients by ensuring deliverables meet client needs and expectations
  • Assists in the management of several client reporting databases to ensure:
  • Data integrity standards are maintained at all times
  • Segregation of duties are understood and maintained with regardsto client profilesand processing
  • Client privacy activitiesmeet compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Assists in the management of regulatory requirements
  • Work with team members in regards to investigations, analysisand issue resolution
  • Provide technical support for testing on critical and strategicprojects
  • Assist with the organizational framework within Reporting and Control and help support the deliveryof quality service and operational excellence
  • Work with Client Solutionsto implement changes to meet client needs
  • Assist with application and process changes to promote understanding and ensure changes are properly implemented.
  • Ensure timely escalation to Management of any situation where Securities Lending is outsideset Risk Policiesoutlining mitigation and recommendations for changes,if necessary.
  • Assist with the partnership with other TMS teams globallyto manage initiatives and projects
  • Assist management with business initiatives

QualityManagement

  • Support appropriate statistical quality measurements and incorporate them into daily activities to ensure quality and efficiency within the team
  • Work with the team and management to continuously identify opportunities to improve the team's operational efficiency and mitigate the risk profile for both the client and RBC I&TS
  • Support the team's vision, goals and objectives in order to support goal congruencewithin the department as a whole
  • Assist to implementtactical requirements in operations, systems and the team
  • Support internal andexternal audit request to achieve satisfactory results
  • Maintain desk operatingprocedures and all documentation relevant to daily operations for Reportingand Control
  • Continually ensure high standards of operation, risk and relationship management within the group
  • Provide back-up coverageduring absences

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

Essential

  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables, Vlookup, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in an operational environment
  • Proven ability to work in a fast pace environment dealing on a global basis in cross functional teams
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and high attention to detail

Desirable

  • University or post­graduate degree
  • Knowledge of securities lending
