About the Role
We are currently seeking an Intermediate Land Administrator to join our team in Calgary on a 12-month contract. This position is crucial in supporting the acquisition of land rights and resolving land-related matters, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, legislative, contractual, and company obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute land-related scope for projects in line with broader business goals.
- Identify land requirements, assess risk, and support mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with Land Representatives and third-party service providers.
- Support project forecasting, cost estimation, and vendor accountability.
- Manage stakeholder communication and documentation processing.
- Draft, review, and manage acquisition documents and agreements.
- Ensure timely and compliant processing of payments and registrations.
- Investigate and resolve historical or complex land right issues.
- Track commitments and ensure proper turnover to Operations.
- Support process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in Land Administration, preferably in midstream/pipeline sectors.
- Completion of a Land Administration Certificate, diploma, or related degree.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian land regulations and acquisition processes.
- Proficient in Pandell, SAP, MS Office, and land registry systems.
- Experience with the BC Energy Regulator is an asset.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Previous project coordination or leadership experience is a plus.
