We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with expertise in ETL development using Java and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines that support our analytics and operational platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines using Java and GCP-native services (e.g., Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage).
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes for performance and reliability.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all stages of the pipeline.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production data workflows and resolve issues proactively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend or data engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in Java for data processing and ETL development.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially Dataflow, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Apache Beam or other stream/batch processing frameworks.
• Knowledge of Python or Scala for data engineering tasks.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
