We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and organized Law Clerk to provide essential administrative and legal support within our growing in-house legal department. This role is instrumental in supporting operational efficiency and enabling our legal team to scale by handling documentation, tracking billing, managing legal communications, and supporting tribunal and court processes.

What Youll Do
  • Support monthly and quarterly legal billing and internal invoice tracking
  • Maintain electronic and physical legal files
  • Prepare and submit tribunal and court forms (e.g., Notices to End Tenancy, Certificates of Service)
  • Track deadlines, hearings, and case activities in legal calendars and trackers
  • Coordinate intake of incident reports, insurance documents, and service certificates
  • Draft routine communications on behalf of the Paralegal
  • Support documentation for insurance claims and hearing packages
  • Maintain legal templates and support process improvement
  • Liaise with internal teams including Property Management and Accounting
  • Provide general administrative duties (filing, scanning, docket tracking, etc.)
What You Bring

Education:

  • Diploma in Legal Office Administration, Law Clerk, or related field

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with Ontario Landlord and Tenant Board and Small Claims Court procedures
  • Experience preparing legal correspondence and managing case documentation
  • Understanding of billing processes and spreadsheet management

Skills:

  • Advanced document formatting and data entry
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Comfortable learning new platforms (e.g., Yardi, legal portals)
