General Description
Are you an experienced logistics and fulfillment professional who enjoys keeping things moving efficiently and accurately? We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, has experience using ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), and ideally comes from the electronic components industry.
This role starts as a 6-month contract but could become a full-time opportunity based on performance and business needs. If you read the responsibilities below and feel confident in most of them, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
1. Office Shipping & Receiving
  • Ship and receive items at our office, including supplier samples and inbound orders.
2. Inbound Logistics
  • Track shipments bound for Canada.
  • Coordinate with carriers (UPS, DHL, etc.) and customs brokers to ensure timely clearance and smooth transit.
  • Work with 3rd party warehouses to ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Perform goods receipts for non-production orders.
3. Invoice & Goods Receipt Validation
  • Validate incoming shipment invoices.
  • Validate logistics invoices from DHL, FedEx, UPS, and Livingston.
4. Material Call-Off (from 3rd Party Warehouse to Office)
  • Request and manage transfer of materials from 3PL warehouse to our office.
  • Use 3PL Warehouse Management System (WMS) to create shipment orders.
  • Scan products into quarantine and maintain traceability data in our master database.
5. Shipping from Office to 3PL
  • Create UPS shipping labels and packing lists.
  • Perform Transfer Orders to release inventory to the 3PL warehouse.
6. Customer Order Fulfillment (from Office)
  • Create Sales Orders in ERP for assigned accounts.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare shipments.
  • Generate labels, packing lists, and scan traceability data.
  • Post Sales Orders and forward documentation to AR for billing.
7. Customer Order Fulfillment (from 3PL)
  • Create Shipment Orders using 3PL WMS.
  • Provide packing list and SSCC codes to 3PL.
  • Track shipments, retrieve PODs, and send documents to AR for billing.
What We're Looking For
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in logistics, order fulfillment, or supply chain roles.
  • Strong experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central is a big plus).
  • Industry experience in electronic components is a definite advantage.
  • Solid communication and organization skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
