We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in React.js on the front end and Node.js on the back end to join our growing development team. In this role, you'll help drive end-to-end feature development—from architectural planning to final deployment—working on scalable, high-performance web applications.

As a senior member of the team, you'll collaborate cross-functionally with the VP of Development, product team, and other developers to build intuitive user interfaces and powerful backend services. Your work will directly impact how users interact with our platform, and you'll be a key player in shaping our technical strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable front-end interfaces using React.js, with a focus on reusable component architecture
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready React components
• Build and optimize backend services and APIs using Node.js
• Reviewing and testing code work for accuracy and functionality
• Liaising with the Product Team to review UI/UX design elements and maintaining design standards set
• Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code while adhering to best practices
• Proactively identify and resolve technical issues or bottlenecks in the development process
• Take ownership of development tasks and deliver them with a high level of quality and timeliness
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and technology developments

Skills and Competencies:

• Must have 4+ year experience as a full stack developer
• Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, and API development/integration
• An eagle eye for the detail in design with an innate understanding of UI/UX processes.
• Proven experience in development of flexible and scalable web-based applications.
• Familiarity with AWS & Docker.
• Familiarity with Figma, Jira and Git.
• PHP development experience is a strong asset.
• React Native experience is a strong asset.
• Android and iOS experience is an asset.
• Additional knowledge of next.js and MySQL is an asset.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills, takes initiative to identify opportunities for improvement, and effectively manages time and priorities to meet project deadlines.
