Altis Recruitment is grateful to partner with our client to support the hiring of a Supervisor Technician to join their team. This will be a hands-on repair role with strong growth potential. The ideal candidate will have experience in camera repairs, familiarity with digital imaging software, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on repair of cameras and lenses
- Provide technical guidance and support to other technicians and contractors
- Assist with troubleshooting questions and help guide others through repair processes
- Collaborate with management to understand workflows, product standards, and escalation processes
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency in all technical work
- Support administrative and operational functions, such as tracking repair volume, assisting with inventory processes, and contributing to internal reporting
- Communicate effectively via email and online meetings to ensure alignment across teams
- Help manage timelines, process improvements, and general shop coordination
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years experience in a hands-on camera technician role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with camera systems, lenses, and imaging equipment
- Ability to guide others and foster a positive, productive team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working on-site full time
- Business process awareness and reporting familiarity is an asset
