The Role:

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to join our team in Toronto, Ontario and support our dynamic, global workforce. This role is essential in helping us maintain a seamless and engaging employee experience across all touchpoints—from the office experience to the employee lifecycle management. You're efficient, upbeat, and hardworking, with a strong sense of initiative. Your outgoing personality and ability to multitask make you a valuable asset in any setting. You exhibit the utmost attention to detail and are happy to serve as the face of the company, both internally and externally.

You'll be part of a team that's passionate about building a workplace where people thrive and are empowered to do their best work. This is a hybrid position and requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the office (Tuesday to Thursday) with the option of 2 days working from home.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Office support: responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the office, overseeing various administrative and logistical tasks. Supporting facilities management and health and safety for employees in the office. Visitor and guest management.
  • Event Management: supporting local and global employee events, arranging travel & accommodation requirements. Supporting local charity events.
  • Support the Employee Lifecycle: Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and internal transitions, ensuring all documentation and processes are executed efficiently.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of local and global benefits programs, liaising with vendors and answering employee queries.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Help ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies, and maintain confidential employee records and documentation.
  • People Ops Projects: Contribute to People team initiatives – projects to enhance employee experience (eg, Wellness initiatives, improving new hire employee experience, etc.)
  • Employee Support: Act as a point of contact for general HR inquiries and guide employees with empathy and accuracy.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a People Operations, HR Coordinator, or similar role—ideally in a fast-paced or global tech/SaaS environment. Office management experience an advantage
  • A "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude and willingness to go above and beyond
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with HR systems and tools (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar). Proficiency in Excel is a bonus.
  • Detail-Oriented: Highly organized and meticulous with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Team player: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently and as part of a team. A collaborative, can-do attitude with a genuine interest in supporting and enhancing the employee experience.
  • Discretion: You handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
