We are a well-established and respected optometric practice with locations in the beautiful communities of Parksville and Nanaimo. We are currently hiring for the following position:

Ophthalmic Dispenser / Licensed Optician

Wage: $22.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience and certification)

We are seeking a motivated and personable team member to help guide patients in choosing eyewear and managing their visual needs. This full-time role (Monday to Friday – no evenings or weekends) includes:

• Consulting with patients to determine eyewear solutions
• Fitting and adjusting glasses and contact lenses
• Assisting with frame inventory and dispensary operations

Qualifications:

Experience in optical dispensing, certified ophthalmic assistant or a licensed optician designation is strongly preferred. However, candidates with strong customer service backgrounds in retail or healthcare are encouraged to apply.
