THE HOSPITALITY SUPERVISOR HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Effectively lead by example demonstrating superior customer service skills, and adaptability to customer feedback, ensuring flawless execution of the event and restaurant service in accordance with Carmens Group standards
- Work in conjunction with the Hospitality Manager and other Hospitality Supervisor to ensure consistent and industry-leading steps of service and create memorable guest experiences in all aspects of the venue
- Act as an ambassador and host of the venue, serving as a liaison between guests, management, and team members
- Ensure that event schedules are accurate, and timelines are followed, constant communication between servers and other event staff
- Maître D' and serve events and restaurant; assist in event set-up, bartending, and other roles as needed
- Assist the Hospitality Manager with team member relations including recruitment, training, scheduling, coaching, and recognition
- Assist the Hospitality Manager in conducting inventory and placing orders for required items as needed
- Assist others with side work including, but not limited to, clearing glasses and dishware
- Communicate any additional meal requirements or special request to the kitchen
- Make a difference in the lives of each and every one of our guests by directly contributing to their extraordinary experiences
- Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilities
- Drive positive change in the organization
- 1-2 years' previous experience in a serving capacity or related hospitality role
- Friendly, professional and customer service focused
- Positive, outgoing and friendly team player
- Excellent customer service skills, and ability to understand and respond to individual needs and requirements
- Thorough understanding of event operations considered an asset
- Smart Serve Certification required
- Reliable transportation required
