About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Interior Construction Project Manager to join our growing team in Mississauga. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and results-driven professional to oversee commercial interior construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects with a focus on safety, quality, and profitability, while also building strong client relationships and identifying future opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, organize, control, and plan construction projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives for safety, quality, and profitability
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Monitor and manage all contractual, financial, and risk-related aspects of projects
- Prepare proposals and tenders; assist in contract negotiation processes
- Provide project accounting support, including accounts payable processing, client invoicing, budgeting, and forecasting
- Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for future work
- 5+ years of experience in commercial interior construction project management
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgets, and financial reporting
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- PMP designation or equivalent construction/project management certification is an asset
