Job Title: Business Analyst (SAP)-Intermediate
Duration: 104 weeks
Work Location: 250 Bloor Street East
Work Arrangement: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote/week
Skills and Certifications
Mandatory Experience:
- Mandatory 1 full end-to-end implementation
- Minimum 5 years as a Business Analyst
- At least 2 years of practical experience with using a wide variety of techniques to document requirements and in using a variety of models/diagrams/documents
- Strong standard knowledge of Time and Attendance Management, Absence Management, Workforce Scheduling Management, Workforce Policy and Pay Rules, Labor Laws and Union Agreements Major IT implementation experience and understanding how systems are affected by business process change
Certifications:
- CBAP or equivalent is an asset
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline
- SAP HR/ SAP SuccessFactors/ Workforce or any other time & attendance solution is an asset
Other Skills:
- Hands on experience in SAP is a strong asset
- SSIS experience highly desirable
- Understanding of SAP's Activate Methodology
- Public Service and Transit experience is an asset
- Exposure to Azure DevOps is an asset
Assignment Duties
- Participate in deployment of new business processes, including end-user training and transition to support teams
- Prepare and maintain all necessary project and process documentation
- Collaborate with end users to ensure clear understanding of daily processes
- Develop training materials and system documentation for both internal and external clients
- Assist and support SAP end-user training sessions; prepare and review training content
- Draft functional specifications for system changes and liaise with developers as needed
- Support project activities including planning, change management, communication, testing, go-live, and post go-live support
- Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing; assist in test data creation
- Conduct solution scoping, gap and feasibility analysis, functional design, application configuration, and technical specification development
- Adhere to design, integration, and change control procedures
