Job Description

POSITION: Accounts Payable Clerk

DURATION: Permanent, Full-Time

LOCATION: Richmond Hill, ON (in-office)

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in accounting or finance is an asset

5+ years of experience in a consumer products industry

Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Overview:

Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization

Match purchase orders and receipts with vendor invoices

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Maintain organized and up-to-date AP records and files

Assist with month-end closing and reporting

Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and invoice issues
