Our client is a modular construction and installation company. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team. Our client is looking for a sales professional with experience in the construction industry. Ideally, this individual will be able to spend some time at the client's office in the sea to sky corridor, but this is not mandatory.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the business development, sales, and marketing teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration across all efforts to drive company growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the modular construction industry through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies, including sales campaigns and marketing initiatives, to achieve company growth goals.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to build long-term partnerships.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of compelling presentations, proposals, and marketing materials that effectively communicate the value and benefits of modular construction solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, estimating, and operations) to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Review and negotiate contracts and terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.
- Track and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and business metrics to senior management.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and promote our products and services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the construction, real estate or modular building sector.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities, understanding their unique needs, values, and cultural perspectives, is considered an asset.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A good understanding of construction principles, processes, and technologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and mentoring.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence key decision-makers.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
